Cook Time: None
Total Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • A small handful of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Mrs. Ruth's Strawberry Lemonade Jam, or more to taste
  • Lemon-flavored sparkling water or club soda, to top
  • Ice
  • Lemon slice or fresh strawberry for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Add sliced strawberries and Mrs. Ruth's Strawberry Lemonade Jam to a tall glass.
  2. Muddle together with a muddler or the back of a spoon until the strawberries are broken down and the jam is well combined.
  3. Fill the glass with ice.
  4. Top with lemon sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently and garnish with a lemon slice or fresh strawberry if desired. Serve immediately.

Tips & Notes

  • More jam = more flavor: Start with 1 tablespoon and add more for a sweeter, more intense strawberry-lemon taste.
  • Make a pitcher: Muddle a larger batch of strawberries and jam, refrigerate for up to 3 days, and add sparkling water and ice per glass when ready to serve.
  • Make it a cocktail: Add 1–2 oz of vodka or gin for a bright, fruity adult spritzer.
  • No muddler? A wooden spoon works perfectly — just press and twist firmly to break down the strawberries.

Flavor Pairings We Love

  • Serve with: Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Dip, a light charcuterie board, or fresh fruit skewers
  • Try also: Mrs. Ruth's Simply Blueberry Preserves or Very Berry Jam muddled in place of the Strawberry Lemonade Jam for a different fruity twist
  • Garnish upgrade: A sprig of fresh mint or a sugared rim adds a polished finishing touch
