- Fill cupcake liners and bake as directed.
- Allow cupcakes to cool completely before assembling.
Frosting
- Beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth and fluffy.
- Add confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract and whip until light and creamy.
Assembly
- Using an apple corer or melon baller, scoop a small round from the center of each cooled cupcake to create an indentation.
- Spoon ½ teaspoon of Mrs. Ruth's Simply Blackberry Jam into each indentation.
- Pipe or dollop cream cheese frosting generously onto each cupcake.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tips & Notes
- Cool completely: Make sure cupcakes are fully cooled before coring and filling — warm cupcakes will cause the jam to run.
- Don't overfill: A small ½ teaspoon of jam is all you need — it concentrates the flavor beautifully without making the cupcake soggy.
- Frosting tip: For a cleaner finish, pipe the frosting with a star tip to cover the filled center.
- Mix it up: Try Mrs. Ruth's Strawberry, Peach, or Raspberry jam for a different flavor profile.
